Dig Up the Resources You Have On-Site!

Increasing your IT power through EUC 2.0

 

More and more companies are introducing end-user computing systems under the initiative of user divisions or building elite organizations to offer on-site support. The idea is to dig up the dormant resources you have on-site in order to increase competitive power. We have investigated the usefulness and implementation of systems from the approaches taken by 14 companies that have spearheaded EUC 2.0 in planning and introducing user-originated systems.

 

EUC as seen in the approach of two early adopter companies

 

On-site driven type: Building a “sandbox” type environment for the user division

 

On-site support type: Changing over to an open-type IT division
