Right now, as the role and responsibilities of information systems divisions expand, there is ever greater demand for “IT leaders” who are capable of heading a work site and developing a project. But there is a lack of such leaders, and the strain on them has reached almost an unbearable level. If things continue as they are, not only will site operations be affected but the next generation of leaders will not be trained. Driven by this sense of crisis, corporations have undertaken training and development to secure the next generation of IT leaders. We look at the actual situation with IT leaders and at training and development sites.
