IT Costs That Make Sense

 

Even when you get an estimate from the vendor, it’s not clear how reasonable it is - this is one of the issues that have been bothering IT divisions for some time. It’s true that because there are so many variables in IT costs, there is no actual market rate, and there is the fact that the market is not yet mature. Even so, some user companies are beginning to try and grasp the reasonableness of IT costs independently by using third party evaluations that show the criteria for estimates. Vendors on their side are also beginning to move towards clear accounting that is in line with the project progress standards, the new accounting standards.
