Creating

Striving for a Trustworthy Society

People create. They create themselves. They create industries and businesses. They create the infrastructure that underpins society and industry. They will create more and more in the future. They will always go on creating. This is because society is now facing an enormous turning point. Self-styled social ecologist Peter Drucker pointed out that the transformation caused by IT is only just beginning. Whichever way you look at it, the key to getting through this period of transformation is people. Only we can create ourselves. The time of professionals is coming – professionals who will train and discipline themselves in order to achieve results. The true professionals achieve results in society and build up industries and businesses that make a contribution to each and every customer. Industries will be more and more specialized while joining hands with new industries to create new type of business. As industry and business work together with IT, IT underpins all aspects of business, technology and the organization. The essence of IT is software. Its progress is a slow one, when compared to that of hardware. If a professional solution could be found to the ongoing issue of software productivity, the transformation of society would become ongoing.
