The Day May Arrive When the Internet Can No Longer Be Used Because
of Rampant Spam and Phishing Attacks
- It is very likely that the convenience of the Internet will be lost
due to phishing and spam. In other countries, some companies have been
forced to shut down their Internet-based businesses due to phishing
attacks.
In Japan, delays in e-mail delivery have been caused by spam.
The Internet, which is now an established component of the social infrastructure,
could collapse in the future if such abuses continue to abound.
