KDDI and CATV suddenly get closer: will they be able to orchestrate opposition
against NTT in the triple play services?
KDDI that now seems to have its moments has its own drawback. The company lacks
its own infrastructures with which to compete head-on against NTT East and NTT
West in the field of triple play services using FTTH. On the other hand, CATV
carriers that do not have telephone services are exposed to full attacks from
NTTs. Such companies have joined forces with each other against NTT East and
NTT West.

Universal service fund system starts in spite of continually
