LCD/PDP International 2002 Ends in SuccessTokyo -- November 19, 2002 -- LCD/PDP International 2002, held from October 30 to November 1 at Yokohama, has closed in success, drawing a total of 46,004 visitors. This number exceeded the last year's total of 41,025. The scale of the show has been growing steadily since its inception in 1994, and this year, the show attracted 209 exhibitors in 458 booths. The number of overseas exhibitors from Taiwan, Korea, the U.S., U.K., Austria, France and Germany, saw an increase from last year's 29 to 36. The hike in the number of overseas exhibitors was mainly attributable to the rise in the number of exhibitors from Taiwan, seeing a boost from last year's 9 to 17.
