Nikkei BP Advertising Awards 2008 Given to 42 Works of 37 Companies - Fuji Xerox Wins the Best Advertising AwardThe Best Advertising Award went to Fuji Xerox’s advertisement piece appearing in Nikkei Business. Pieces by Mitsukoshi and Sharp - appearing in Nikkei Business and Nikkei Electronics, respectively - won the Excellent Advertising Awards. Also, with strong recommendation from the Ad Awards Screening Committee, a special award was given to the piece by Pfizer (appearing in Nikkei Medical). In addition to these four, 33 companies received section awards, including IBM Japan (Nikkei Computer Award), Microsoft (Nikkei Personal Computing Award), and Yamaha Livingtec (Real Simple Japan Award). A total of 42 advertisement pieces of these 37 companies were selected for the awards. Nikkei BP Advertising Awards, established in 1995 and marking the fourteenth this year, aim to contribute to development of advertising in the specialized information fields.
