Nikkei BP to incorporate Nikkei BP Consulting
Tokyo -- February 28, 2002 -- Nikkei Business Publications will incorporate
Nikkei BP Consulting, Inc. on March 1 as its 100%-owned subsidiary. Nikkei
BP Consulting will offer research and consulting services in the cutting-edge
realm of business and technology, provide marketing services via direct mailing
and other methods, and publish related information such as assessment of
state-of-the-art technologies.
In addition to publishing numerous business-to-business magazines serving a
wide variety of industries, Nikkei BP has been disseminating its highly advanced
business and technology information using non-print platforms such as the
Internet, exhibitions and seminars. In 1997, Nikkei BP created a new division
by the name of Consulting Bureau with the aim of fulfilling the growing needs
for consulting and marketing services from a company such as ours with
abundant expertise in providing the latest business and technology information
for industry professionals.
Nikkei BP Consulting is a spin-off of this Consulting Bureau, aimed to pursue
this business in greater dynamism and with stronger enthusiasm. Nikkei BP
Consulting will continue to offer the same quality services that it has been under
the umbrella of Nikkei BP.
