Nikkei BP Announces the Launch of Three Trade Shows in 2002 - 2003
Tokyo -- April 22, 2002 -- Nikkei Business Publications has announced the launch
of three trade shows from year 2002 to 2003.
Herewith are the details of the three trade shows:
Tokyo Game Show 2002
Nikkei BP and Computer Entertainment Software Association (CESA) will for
the first time co-organize "Tokyo Game Show," a tradeshow focused on video
games. As of year 2002, Nikkei BP will be in charge of planning, sales and
management of the show. Tokyo Game Show will introduce the world of
computer entertainment by disseminating the latest information on the software
industry, in which Japan takes the world's lead.
Date: September 20 to 22, 2002
Venue: Nippon Convention Center (Makuhari Messe)
Planned turnout: 150,000
Booth rate for exhibitors: 280,000 yen (registered members of CESA); 350,000
yen (nonmembers) [tax exclusive]
Security Solution Expo 2002
Security Solution Expo 2002 will offer all the necessary security information to
survive the increasingly complex networking society. Security Solution Expo
2002 will showcase network securities such as e-authentication and coding
technology, personal identification system/devices including biometric products
and IC cards, and monitoring systems/devices. Concurrently held are seminars
where prominent figures are invited as keynote speakers to provide specialized
information on the core of security.
Date: November 27 to 29, 2002
Venue: Pacifico Yokohama
Planned turnout: 30,000
Booth rate for exhibitors: 420,000 yen (tax exclusive)

HealthCare Expo 2003
HealthCare Expo 2003 will introduce hardware/software and services
indispensable for the launch/renewal of nursing care facilities for the elderly as
well as for extended home nursing care. Targeted visitors are directors and
management executives of healthcare facilities for the elders and of facilities for
recuperation. HealthCare Expo 2003 will also be tailored to meet specific needs
of managers of nursing care goods stores, construction companies, design offices,
R&D institutes and municipalities.
Date: January 29 to 31, 2003
Venue: Tokyo Big Sight
Planned turnout: 20,000
Booth rate for exhibitors: From 330,000 yen to 390,000 (tax exclusive)
