"NikkeiBP BizBoard" to Provide Online Informational Service to Companies

Tokyo -- October 1, 2002 -- Nikkei Business Publications has launched today an online informational service to companies by integrating a wide array of premium contents. Dubbed as "NikkeiBP BizBoard" (http://bizboard.nikkeibp.co.jp/), the new online service provides news and information mainly from NikkeiBP's vast informational platform. Users will gain access to contents of NikkeiBP's 29 magazine titles including Nikkei Business, Nikkei Computer, Nikkei Electronics and Nikkei Biotechnology & Business; websites including BizTech and IT Pro; research and marketing data from Nikkei Market Access; and other useful information including online dictionaries on IT-words and dozens of press releases of blue-chip companies. The service aims to provide powerful resources to help companies make better decisions in business.

The integration of content from print and online provides service users with an unparalleled selection of business and market information online. From the abundant information, users can pull out articles as well as information on trade shows and stock prices to follow indexes. Furthermore, the service can send and update customized information every 30 minutes to the preference of users once they select keywords of their interest, thereby making the top page of the online site unique to each user company.

The service on offer is on an annual contract basis for companies wishing to establish a scheme in which their employees can share up-to-the-minute and powerful information online. Companies can opt from a line up of four package plans whose service rates vary depending on the number of times users can download information. Package with minimum service is offered at a monthly rate of 100,000 yen. The informational service is offered in the Japanese language only.
