New Series of PC Mooks Targets People Over 55

NIKKEI PC 21 will kick off a series of four mooks in 2001 by the name of "Enjoying PC at the Age of 55." This series came out in response to the favorable reception of two mooks published last year, "Let's Start PC Lessons at 55" and "Let's Enjoy PC Lessons at 55," both of which recorded a sell-through of over 100,000.

The mooks inherit the editorial policy of NIKKEI PC 21, a magazine gaining momentum with an ABC-audited circulation of 199,454 for the first half of 2000, offering easy-to-understand explanations to make every reader comprehend the use of PCs. In addition, the mooks are printed with larger font size and abundant visual presentations, with the aim of offering fun and pleasant reading to people over 55. Each mook will have special themes of writing personal history, fully enjoying digital cameras, how to create a homepage and how to make New Year's cards.

Embracing the older generation of well-off people, the mooks serve as ideal vehicles to promote PC related products and services. A four-color full-page ad is priced at 350,000 yen. Each mook will have 80,000 copies distributed at bookstores.
