Nikkei BP to Organize "INTERMAC 2001" with JEMIMA
Tokyo -- August 29, 2001 -- For the first time this year, Nikkei
Business Publications and Japan Electric Measuring Instruments
Manufacturers' Association (JEMIMA) will jointly orchestrate the
"INTERMAC (International Measurement and Control)" show.
INTERMAC originated in 1955 with JEMIMA as the sole
organizer. Over the years, it grew into an internationally renowned
event, expanding its coverage of measurement and control
technology and attracting 60,000 visitors from 50 different
countries annually.
The three-day show to be held from November 7 to 9 this year at
Tokyo Big Sight will be zoned into "measurement, semiconductor
peripherals and communications," "environment, analysis,
biotechnology and radiation measurement," "process and factory
automation," "sensors and field instruments" and "products and
services." JEMIMA will bring to INTERMAC its expertise in
measurement and control, and Nikkei BP its wealth of know-how
in event organization as well as depth of information on networking
technology. Through their joint efforts, the show will provide an
unparalleled opportunity for the visitors to keep abreast of the
latest movement in measurement and control technology that is
indispensable for the foundation of the 21st century networking
environment.
INTERMAC is anticipated to become the largest show of its kind
in Asia, attended by a significant number of key industry
professionals. Nikkei BP will capitalize on its unrivaled media
sources to lure quality visitors. Utilized for the event promotion
include the subscribers' lists of NIKKEI ELECTRONICS and
NIKKEI DIGITAL ENGINEERING magazines that have a total
of 70,000 circulations, The Nikkei Industry Daily newspaper with
230,000 circulations, as well as its preferred customers database
to send out 100,000 DMs. Online sources such as renowned
technical sites, BizTech and NE Online, will also make maximum
use of their visitors and registrants for the promotion.
