iEXPO 2001 to Open on December 5
Tokyo -- November 21, 2001 -- Nikkei Business Publications, together with NEC,
will organize iEXPO 2001 at Tokyo Big Sight from December 5 to 7.
Renamed from last year's NEC NetBusiness Fair, this will be the sixth time for
the exposition to be held.
Built around the theme of "To Business Redevelopment and Beyond - Three
Days of Experience and Interaction," iEXPO 2001 will propose a variety of
cutting-edge solutions for business innovation.
One of the best places to start the tour of iEXPO 2001 is the "Theme Stage."
Offering an overview of the solutions and technologies to be found in the
exposition, the Theme Stage will introduce specific images of how the advent of
a full-scale Internet society (=iSociety) will change the business model of a
company or the lifestyle of an individual.
A key attraction of iEXPO 2001 is the NEC Booth, featuring the Common
Solution Zone, the Industry Solution Zone, the Platform Solution Zone and the
Package Solution Zone. The NEC Booth, together with the booths of NEC
group companies and its business partners, will present specific solutions to
companies wishing to play more active roles in their markets through
management innovation as well as to individuals seeking a more affluent life.
