Nikkei BP Intelligence Group to Be Launched on September 1

Tokyo – August 28, 2015 – Nikkei Business Publications (President & CEO: Kohei Osada; Tokyo) will launch its new research division Nikkei BP Intelligence Group on September 1, 2015, with the aim of contributing to solve management issues in companies and social challenges faced by national and regional governments. Capitalizing on Nikkei BP’s long-built trust and expertise in delivering latest updates, Nikkei BP Intelligence Group is committed to offer essential information for businesses and government authorities in Japan.

Established in 1969, Nikkei BP has a long history of covering topics in business management, technology, and lifestyle-related issues through its magazines, books, websites and seminars. Since 2010, Nikkei BP has established several research institutes within its organization to better meet individual needs of companies as well as national and regional public bodies.

Currently, Nikkei BP has six specialized research units that are; CleanTech Institute, Visionary Management Institute, Institute of Consumer Trends, ICT Innovation Research Institute, Institute of Infrastructure, and Mirai Institute. They have received high acclaim from client companies and regional public bodies for providing a wide range of support services.

The total clientele of the six institutes exceeds 100 entities on an actual basis. Backed by accumulated successful results, the number, size and complexity of involved projects continue to grow under the current situation. From this September 1, the six institutes will be refined into one integrated group to operate one-stop services for finding solutions to current business and social challenges.
